The 2nd edition of Soore’s most prestigious animation event, “Bang-e Bidariye Bahar”, wrapped up its work in Tehran. 

A large number of animation enthusiasts attended the closing ceremony of the fest held at the Martyr Hussain Fahimi’s Cinema of Soore University on May 24.

Selected works from different categories of the event were awarded during the ceremony with many senior officials of the country’s animation industry in attendance.

Iran’s eminent animator Mohamadreza Karimi Saremi was also appreciated for his supports of animation and the students of animation

“Bang-e Bidariye Bahar” animation festival has been being held annually on the on spring since 1394.

Iranian animation figures Amir Saharkhiz, Jamal Rahmati and Parastoo Kardgar comprised the jury for this year’s festival.

Some of the Prize winners are as follows: 

First Place: Marziye Paydar for Domestic Man

Second Place: Marziye Kheyrkhah for In Shooting Sight

Third Place: Sahar Tarzi for Paper Moments
